In this help topic we will discuss the process of adding videos & audio to Wedding Connected. Above is a video outlining the whole process but for those who prefer to read, please continue reading below. This feature is only available to Premium members so if you are currently a Basic or Featured member, you will have to upgrade to use this feature.
Videos & Audio are displayed on your profile page under the video and audio tab.
Some of the reasons why posting events is a great idea are:
- Good for SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) – Higher in search engines such as Google & Wedding Connected.
- It’s a great way to get more business and land more clients.
- It increases your exposure in our directory.
- Great way to showcase your skills, especially if you’re a wedding videographer, DJ or similar.
So now that we have that out of the way, it’s time to learn how to add audio and video to your profile that could potentially be seen by thousands of people. It’s easy, we promise!
Note: Videos and Audio are added in separate sections of your member dashboard but the process is the same for both of these.
Step 1 – Log in to your Wedding Connected account. Once you are logged in, you should arrive at your Member Dashboard.
Step 2 – On the left side of your Member Dashboard, you will see a menu list of items. Look for ‘Audio Files’ or ‘Video Files’ and click that and then click ‘Add Video‘ or ‘Add Audio‘
Step 3 – At the top of this page you will see an option for ‘Publish’ which will be Yes or No. Make sure you select ‘Yes’ if you want your event to be live on the website.
Step 4 – Give your video or audio a title that explains what the video or audio is about. (Ex: Wedding Videography Showreel 2017, Wedding DJ Music, etc).
Step 5 – We do not actually host the audio/video ourselves so in the next box if you were uploading video, you would enter in your YouTube or Vimeo URL to your video. If you were uploading audio, you would enter in your SoundCloud URL to your music/sound.
Step 6 – Enter keywords separated by commas in to the ‘tags’ box. (Ex: wedding videography, wedding videographer, wedding videography melbourne, etc).
Step 7 – Enter a clear description of what your video or audio file is about. (Ex: My wedding videography showreel of 2017).
Step 8 – Press ‘Save Changes’. That’s it, you’re done!
